Learn Your Letters |
Here is a list of ideas to help your child learn their letters:
- Pick a letter. Have your child use a red crayon to find all of that letter on one page of the newspaper. Repeat with a different letter and a different colored crayon.
- Talk about the letters you see on signs at the grocery store. Keep a tally of which letters you see. Or copy the letters down as if it was a scavenger hunt.
- Heave your child find letters we have learned on food labels in the pantry. As they find them and you use up that item, cut off the label and use it to make an ABC book or a book of "words" your child can "read".
