IMPORTANT!! HALF DAY – We will have a HALF DAY dismissal on Friday, May 24, 2013.
- ALL Kindergarten will attend and be released at 11:25.
(PM Kindergarten will receive bus transportation. AM Kindergarten will need to arrange rides home.)
- Junior High Students will be dismissed at 11:00.
- Elementary Students will be released at 11:25.

As in previous years, SUMMER PACKETS will be sent home with all students at the end of the school year. Parents, these packets are to be completed and returned to homeroom teachers at the start of the 2013-2014 school year. REMEMBER: It will count as the first grade of the new school year. |

We are beginning to plan for the 2013-2014 school year. It takes a great deal of time for our staff to create class lists. Your child's academic, social and emotional needs are carefully considered as the staff forms class lists for next year. Our teachers do an excellent job of creating balanced class lists, as they know the students very well. If you have a concern about your placement for next year, you need to share your concerns with your child's classroom teacher IN WRITING by May 14. Please keep in mind that you may not request a certain teacher for your child. We try to match our student's various learning styles to the different teaching styles of our classroom teachers.

Monday, June 3rd is our last day of school. This is a two-hour early dismissal Junior High will be released at 12:55. Elementary students will dismiss at 1:25. Please make your childcare arrangements for that day. |

TO REPORT AN ABSENCE: Please call the attendance line at (815) 744-6166 ext. 105 by 9:00 AM to report your child's absence. Remember to always include a reason for the absence. Students who have been to a doctor's appointment are required to bring a doctor's note, to the office the following day.
STUDENTS WHO ARE TARDY: Please sign your student into the Tardy book in the office. Please keep in mind that every time a student is late, they are missing valuable class time. Missed class time means missed learning time. |
